Snoop Dogg: I didn’t threaten Gayle King, but she ‘was very disrespectful towards Kobe Bryant

The controversy was amplified further after former national security adviser Susan Rice took exception to Snoop Dogg’s threat by posting a warning on Twitter.

“This is despicable,” Rice wrote. “Gayle King is one among the foremost principled, fair and hard journalists alive. Snoop, back the **** off. You come for @GayleKing, you come against a military . you’ll lose, and it won’t be pretty.”

Bryant died late last month during a helicopter crash that also killed his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and 7 others.

His shocking death has departed waves of tributes to the NBA great, with a number of his supporters responding with anger and threats to people that have raised the allegations against Bryant.

Bryant was accused in 2003 of sexually assaulting a Colorado hotel employee. the fees were later dropped after the worker declined to cooperate with prosecutors. She would eventually settle with Bryant outside of court, and Bryant acknowledged in an apology that the lady didn’t feel that their encounter was consensual.
